In questa Puntata di Reggae Radio Station nella prima parte è stato mio ospite in via telefonica

MR.BIGGA della crew di Reggae Revolution con il quale abbiamo parlato del blog del sito di REGGAEZION.COM

Per motivi a me assolutamente sconosciuti nella registrazione che poi vado a mettere in download per tutti voi il parlato di MR BIGGA non è venuto registrato e quindi ho dovuto fare qualche taglio per poter rendere ascoltabile anche la prima parte altrimenti nella registrazione completa sentivate in molte parti il vuoto.

Mando un abbraccio affettuoso a MR:BIGGA con il quale mi scuso ma a volte

MIKEY DREAD Live Italy 2003

Mikey dread si avvicinò al mondo della radio grazie al suo diploma di tecnico elettronico che lo portò a lavorare negli studi della JBC Radio.

Oltre ad essere un ottimo conduttore si rivelò anche un bravo dj e registro alcune hits con

Lee Perry e Sonya Pottinger.

Un capitolo molto importante della sua vita a carriera fu la collaborazione con il

gruppo punk inglese The Clash.

Produsse per loro la grande hit Bankrobbery e comparve in vari tracce nel

triplo album Sandinista

Nel 2002 Mikey Dread ci lascia il suo ultimo lavoro dal titolo RASTA IN CONTROL

e nel marzo 2008 il tumore diagnosticato un anno prima c’è lo porta via.

In ricordo di Mikey Dread scomparso il 15 marzo dell’anno scorso
